Go Tisha and Geoff!!!
If I may, I know that in every competition there will always be a loser and a winner. And it is inevitable that contestants tend to involve more than what is required and may say bad remarks to opponents. I believe that to be a good player, means knowing how to show sportsmanship to the rest. I hope that by the end of the season, these players would remember the wonderful experience more than the bad. Either we win or lose, whatever happens, the experience is incomparable. I wish I could join, too. Although I don't have the stamina to eat exotic foods, surely I'd lose on that challenge haha. Anyways, hep hep hurray for Philippines!

Defensive Mechanism
Yes, this is very true for someone that I happen to deal with often. She is one person I never thought would be that defensive with her acts considering the "title" she has. I cannot simply comprehend why she treats people like us so stumpy. She claims to have been brought up by someone like us. Hmmm, she should somehow act according to what she was taught right? Well, I guess the teacher or whoever guided her in growing up may have missed some essential parts - like how to co-exist with other people. I don't have any personal grudge with her but I'm just merely citing what I see of her. And I must say, she disappoints me completely.
Actually, I'm not directly involved with whatever issues she has but I just feel for some people. They come to me and tell what they feel. And I totally understand where they are coming from. I will surely feel the same way had I been part of it, too.
At first, I just let the chitchat come and go. Why? because being a person with a decent education, would know when to give the other person the benefit of the doubt. And I guess it is but fair to also hear what she has to say or atleast act on.
As months and days passed, there are times when she's ok but more oftenly she's not. I thought I could bare the sour treatment but as of this morning, I realized that it's not worth my day to see her more in the years to come. I am not in favor of how she defensively "guards her own hoard of sheep" infront of others. She evidently shows prejudice without empathy for others. Personally, I have my own prejudices too, but to be noticed by others especially if I hold a certain "crown of distinction", I should atleast be a little discreet. Her strategy of defense makes her more susceptible. Argh! I totally lost the drive to hang on longer. Talk about fast forward, I wish its 2009.

Getting to the other side
Aside from a sweet surprise birthday treat we (with my housemates) gave to our friend, I went with Archie to Boon Lay to claim his medical result. Whoa, the ride is really from end to the other end. Seriously, even if it is only one train ride if it would take over an hour, is really a pain in the a**! Ack! It's too far. Now, I got that chance to get to the other side of Singapore. Whew!

Do you want to get rid of Fire?
We are calling all business establishments, manufacturing firms, and other big companies that are starting to worry about fire problems, the answer to your worry is here. KBSPassive Fire has created fire proofing products to ease companies' agony. One of their products is fireproof sealant that is used to seal electrical cables, plastic pipes, steel and copper pipes that penetrate fire-rated walls and floors. This product is not only fireproof but also intumescent sealant. It helps to minimize fire from spreading. KBSPassive Fire came up with a solution that would make our place sound and safe. A fire barrier sealant consists of water-based thermoplastic resins, intumescent agents, reinforcement fibres, pigments and additives. Fireproof like this can even last 12 months in its original closed containers. What more is there to ask for, right? This product has provided more than enough use to maintain our businesses safe and fire-free. It is also a steel fireproofing. If we want our businesses to keep running, entrust your safety to KBSPassive Fire products. Try it to see for yourself and save your fortune from getting burned.

Happy Weekend
I feel happy this weekend. My friend celebrated her birthday and we, her housemates led by her boyfriend shared efforts to create a surprise party for her. I cooked pancit (stir-fried noodles), Archie blew the balloons while the rest prepared the food. It was such a sweet surprise. All six of us had a well-dined birthday party at our own home.

Counting for a lonely Xmas
My colleague is on leave for a week so I gotta cover for him. That means, my work plus his work equals stress hehe. I guess a week won't hurt, will it? I'll survive.
It's 62 days more before Christmas. Ack! I'll be spending again my second year of loneliest christmas and new year abroad huhu. I wish next year will be different and hopefully spend it back home with my big family. Here, not even a colorful light nor a christmas song is heard. I feel like I am in an industrial-desserted island hehe. Ok, this is not complaining. I just miss the christmas songs, christmas tree, lanterns, and santa. Can someone please play for me a nice christmas song? :P

Can you forget what you do all your life?
I went to attend mass last night and it was my first time to ever witness a priest forget (or should I say) missed some parts of the mass. He totally forgot about the "Our Father" part and went straight to "Sign of Peace". I was completely surprised. Hmm, maybe the priest was too hungry to figure out which comes next. I just hope it won't happen again as it loses the spiritual momentum.

The Parable of the Prodigal Son
The Parable of the Prodigal Son is found the New Testament, Luke 15:11-32. It is a story about a man with two sons. The younger son was in a hurry to get his inheritance while his father is still alive. And so his father obliged. He went to the city and spent his money on wastage and eventually enslaved himself after losing all the money. After what happened to him, he opened his senses and decided to return to his father to ask for forgiveness. He even made a bargain to his father if he could work for him as one of his servants.
Soon as he returned home, his father welcomed him with open arms and quickly butchered a fatted calf to rejoice for his return. This was what made his older brother jealous of the treatment that his younger brother got. He felt that he should have been rewarded more over his younger brother who had been away for a while. But his father answered instead and said "Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found."
This parable is something that can continuously inspire us about life. We, people should value repentance more than anything in this world. For if we repent and humble ourselves for our mistakes, we are graced with forgiveness and blessings in return. A true person who has love in his heart will always have room to ask forgiveness and to forgive those who have sinned.

HSM3 in Theatres Oct 24!
The third installment of the blockbuster movie is to hit the theatres soon and I'm pretty sure a lot of fans are dying to watch the screening.
Since it is the senior year for HSM, the movie would all be about graduation and growing up. I remember way back 11 years ago when I graduated in high school (quite long time) I was very active in outdoor activities. I was a part of the campus dance group and joined sports activities to develop my talents and potential skills. And who would miss high school without having a crush? During my time of course I did have an apple of my eye, though he never knew he was haha. Anyways, my graduation was pretty alright. Me and my friends had our proper goodbyes. We exchanged contact numbers and had the best of fun all night after the ceremony. It was the first time I ever drunk liquor then *winks*
Catch Walt Disney Pictures' High School Musical 3: Senior Year in cinemas from October 24!
