Samsung Experience

OMG, what is more disappointing than owning a Samsung U-600 for less than a year and already dysfunctional? I used to fancy the features of this phone but because of its recent failure, I got totally dismayed. So now, I dont have any cp. Ugh, although it is under warranty, sad to say, it has to be repaired in the Philippines. Archie searched online to check if it's warranty is international but as per policy, itis solely to the dealer's termsand condition.s Crap! It has yet to be done when I go back next month. Poor me. Friends, I am sorry for the inconvenience. I won't be able to reply to your SMS should you have sent me one. It still works for calls though. Samsung is not that fun contrary to its advertisement. Peace out, this is just my experience. Hehe.

Punch that Line

My housemate shared a story when she met someone inside the train on her way home. The guy was a complete stranger and suddenly struck a conversation. "Is your hair naturally curly?" My friend was completely shocked because she was actually wearing her hair up when the guy asked. Too bad my friend is extremely conscious with her hair. She actually needs an hour or longer to fix it before going out to make sure it would not look frizzed. And to get noticed would mean trouble to her. Yet, the hair didn't stop the guy from asking my friend's number and eventually asked her out for a date. The punch line seemed to work.

Did you know that styling the hair can be attractive and sexy? A well-styled hair often reflects the character of a person. It's a "what you see is what you get" impression. With Extreme Style by V05, you can have the Victory Hair you want. Flaunt and flirt that hair!

Looking back

Me and my friend were having a blast-in-the-past conversation. We shared common passion in watching basketball games some 10 years ago. It is truly nice to reminisce the past with these famous ball players. We giggled and swoon over those good looking players long time ago.

And funny how our boyfriends commented that our topic was actually cool. I bet it is cool for girls to talk about basketball. "That's hot." hehe. Sadly, since working for a few years now, we haven't been updated with who's who in basketball right now. Too bad, work drowned us deeply. I wish I could turn back time when all I do is sleep and watch. haha, just a wishful thinking.

Busy Hands?

Are you someone with busy hands? Did you know that a repetitive use of the hand can actually cause a medical condition called Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS)? Yes, it is a nerve compression on the hand and weakening of the muscle that causes pain.

Do you have CTS? One perfect example is too much typing. Since the computer era, manual pieces of information were slowed down. Thus, many people prefers computer-aided information for less manual writing. However, too much use of the hands can actually be unhealthy.

I am one of the people with CTS. I have been working in a call centre for five years and it requires multi-tasking job that included fast typing. A few years earlier, I started to feel numbness and nerve pain in my hands.

Good thing carpal tunnel relief is invented. It was actually designed by orthopedic surgeon. This product helps reduce stress in taking long period of typing, playing games or any other repetitive activities. Visit their website to learn more and have a wide array of choices to suit your comfort. I'd like to have one for my use. To everyone who is suffering from CTS like me, the medicine is here. Let's help heal the pain.

Filipino

What a fascinating remark to hear people from other countries typecast Filipinos to be house-helps. I was talking to this man over the phone at work earlier today and my, what an a**. Excuse me for saying this but it is just unfair to generally label people with what they do for a living. I was pissed to hear when this man uttered and act surprised that I don't work as a house-help like what Filipinos are known for.

May I just say that nobody has the right to step on what others choose to live their lives. I guess these people have such shallow minds. Try thinking out of the box and see what these house-helps really contribute. Yes, they do all the dirty house jobs but have you thought of why big people even hire them? Well, because they actually trust them. These small people that others freely criticize and demoralize are with integrity and dedication at work.

With all due respect to nannies and house-helps around the world not only Filipinos, what you do is genuinely noble. We should not measure what we can contribute and belittle others by what they do. There will be no home kept clean and no baby taken cared of without them. Let's face it, the world is filled with small and big people. We need to have both kinds of people to balance life. Think about it. We can't all be CEOs. We need assistants too. No matter how small it may be, it should not be counted less. That's how logical individuals think, agree?

Hi everyone! Praise God I was able to last the tedious Monday. It's only the start of the week yet I feel so freakin' drained with so many things to do but so little time. I hope tomorrow would be a better day for all of us. "It's just another Manic Monday"

Blog-addict

Wahoo! Finally, my blog was approved. I get to take opportunities online, except that bloggers have become so congested that opps usually run out. I didn't know that it would literally require me to stare at the monitor and refresh every once in a while just to get an opps for a starter like me. Whoah! It's like a track and field race, cyber that is. Whew! Anyway, it's challenging. I hope to get an opportunity soon. hehe

Scam

"Congratulation !!! You simcard get $7000 from PETRONAS. For more information, please call PETRONAS centre..."

Am I still in the Philippines? haha. Could it be a scam or an early Halloween trick? Goodness, I never thought such scam also exists abroad. I was in Takashimaya dipping in to the crowd of moms and dads with their children shopping for the craziest toys sale when I got it. I never paid much attention to the message yesterday. Although I wish it's true. But how can I believe, if the message was composed grammatically incorrect? haha. What a shame to that scambag. Can someone tell me if this is true? $7000 is $7000 you know! Drop me a note please. hehe

PMS Mode

My weekend was filled with see-saw kinds of emotion due to PMS. Ugh! Women really has to go through this certain phase in their lives in every month of each year. I seriously hate the mood swings because even the smallest detail or idea, I really fume about it.

Just like what happened to my new site, some angel was trying to play with it and completely forgot that blogger and wordpress are two different tools that cater to varying functions. Blogger is quite user-friendly while the latter is a manual-html-challenge. Poor thing, the original CSS was not saved. There you go, website became a complete disaster. huhu. I was so upset about it.I wasted 3 valuable hours of my weekend whining about it. I could have just let it be for the meantime while thinking of solutions. Instead, I made a big deal out of it because of freakin' PMS. Tsk tsk! Don't you just hate it too? It's like some external soul from nowhere suddenly possesses my mental and emotional being. Sigh...

Well, enough said. I really appreciate how the society have come to accept the idea of PMS. It's a great excuse for us. haha! Anyways, the anger was eventually compensated with a nice grin as my payout for niner got credited. All of my write-ups were bought. Isn't that great? Sure it is! *winks*

The Mummy Sequel 3

Photobucket I went out with Archie for a Friday night movie. We've watch yet another hit movie of Brendan Fraser in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. I've watched all three movie sequels. And I must say, I was thrilled with it all. I was never wrong in booking online tickets for this because I've seen its worth.

What I like about this movie (like the two former sequels) is that the adventure and level of excitement is equally showed from start to finish. There's no see-saw feeling, you get the hang of the whole thrill. However, the slight down factor of the movie for me is not seeing the original Mrs Evey O'Connell. At some point, it disconnects continuity from the previous sequels. Nevertheless, Rachel Weisz's absence didn't majorly cause failure. I remember Rachel just gave birth. It could have been the reason why she was unable to be part of the movie. But in fairness to the actress, she portrayed her role well. The movie is still a must-see. To those who haven't watched, book a ticket now!
